Clydesdale horses grow more slowly than other horse breeds.
The foals do not reach maturity at four to five years old, but at seven to eight years old.
By then, they weigh about 1000 kilograms – as much as a small car.
They are so strong that they can pull objects much heavier than themselves. Consequently, they also have a high demand for food and water.
Every day, they need 20–25 kg of grain enriched with minerals and vitamins and about 50–60 kg of hay.
Of course, this also makes them very thirsty.
A Clydesdale drinks over 100 liters of water a day. Schleich figures are wonderful toys for collecting and playing, thanks to their quality craftsmanship and durability, they can be passed down from generation to generation.
