The Holsteiner breed is extraordinarily popular in sport horses and is considered one of the oldest horse breeds in Germany.
Since the 14th century, it has been bred in the Uetersen Monastery, located in what is now the federal state of Schleswig-Holstein.
The first mentions of the Holsteiner horse date back to 1225.
Schleich figures are wonderful toys for collecting and playing, and due to their quality and durability, they can be passed down from generation to generation.
