Brewing instructions:
Pour hot water at a temperature of 95°C over a teaspoon of tea. The brewing time should be between 3 to 5 minutes.
There are two ways to brew:
- For a short brew - up to 3 minutes, the infusion will be strongly refreshing and invigorating.
- For a longer brew - up to 5 minutes, the infusion will contain less caffeine and its effect will be relaxing.
Over-brewing causes astringency in the taste of the infusion, but does not result in more caffeine and increased stimulation. On the contrary, the tannins produced with each passing minute, which give a bitter taste, neutralize the effect of caffeine.
Black tea leaves are only suitable for single brewing.
