Brewing Instructions:

  • Pour hot water (70°C to 80°C) over a teaspoon of tea. The brewing time should be between 3 to 5 minutes.

You can brew it in two ways:

  • For a short brew (up to 3 minutes), the infusion will be very refreshing and stimulating.
  • For a longer brew (up to 5 minutes), the infusion will contain less caffeine and have a relaxing effect.

Over-brewing causes the infusion to taste bitter without increasing its caffeine content. On the contrary, tannins that give a bitter taste are produced with each additional minute, neutralizing the effect of theine.

Green tea leaves can be brewed three times. The first brew should last about 3 minutes, and each subsequent brew should be extended by 1 minute.
