Instructions for burning soy candles: Before the first burn, warm the candle to room temperature. Soy candles burn longer than paraffin ones. The first burn should last 2-4 hours to melt the wax to the outer walls of the container. This prevents tunneling of the candle. The maximum burning time is 4-5 hours. Do not place candles on a windowsill to avoid uneven burning. Never leave a candle unattended! Extinguish the candle when less than 1 cm of wax remains at the bottom. To extinguish the candle: snuff out the airflow instead of blowing it out. Do not place candles on metal holders. Use non-heating coasters. Trim wicks to about 0.4 cm after each burning to facilitate relighting the candle.
